Getting Started

Tactical: Swat Simulator drops you in a hub with a locker, Shop, and a row of mission pads. Nothing starts until you gear up and walk onto a pad. This beginner guide is the day-one loop: group bonus, codes, locker, first quests, and Cash Under Fire. The video in the middle of this page is AJBLOX running that exact climb from recruit kit to later maps, including the moment Desert Stockpile and Hijacked Waters sit behind Special Forces and Silent Guest sits behind FBI.

If you already know the Shop path, skim to the raid section. If you just installed Roblox, do the list in order. Skipping the like-and-group bonus is the most expensive mistake a recruit makes.

Before you touch a gun

Like the experience and join the We Have Motives group. The Roblox description still promises $350 + 100 XP for that combo. Then open Shop → Codes and redeem the live list on the codes hub. CLANS, GRENADES, HELLO, and DIFFICULT are the August 2026 set. How to click that UI is isolated on how to redeem.

You now have a Cash pile that would take several sloppy raids to earn. Do not buy a random secondary. Open the locker, pick a primary you can aim, and add a sight if the gun allows attachments. The loadout tool exists so you do not guess.

Hub layout in plain language

  • Locker / armory — buy and equip primaries, secondaries, and later grenades. Customize sights and muzzle brakes here, not in the raid.
  • Shop — gamepasses, Cash packs, and the Codes tab.
  • Mission pads — walk onto one to load a place such as Cash Under Fire, Locked Tenants, or Smuggler’s Run. The pad is the queue.
  • Quests — recruit tasks typically look like arrest four hostiles, complete three missions, and secure nine civilians. They teach cuffs. Honour them.

Servers hold twelve officers. You can party at size one and still finish recruit maps. AJBLOX did Cash Under Fire in an empty lobby on purpose to learn the gun without friendly fire chaos.

Your first raid: Cash Under Fire

Cash Under Fire is the bank. Active Tasks on the HUD (the same overlay as our overview screenshot) usually read:

  • Rescue all civilians
  • Secure all hostiles
  • Recover all stolen cash

Secure means cuff, not only kill. Walk up to a surrendered or downed NPC and press F when CuffNPC appears. Downed suspects also prompt Mark Evidence. Skipping those prompts is why recruits “finish” the shooting and still fail the pad.

Move room by room. The bank lobby has long glass and teller lines; the offices behind have close corners. A pump-action shotgun with seven shells (the HUD in the official screenshot shows Pump-Action 7/7) is fine in rooms and bad across the lobby. If you bought a rifle with codes, hold the lobby with it and swap only if you own a CQB backup.

Civilians exist. Shooting them wastes the rescue task and can nuke the grade even if every hostile is down. When someone stands with hands up, cuff first.

What the starter video actually teaches

The embedded raid is not a cinematic trailer. It shows the armory with empty attachment slots on a fresh account, a bad shotgun pick on a long dock map, and the rank walls in front of later places. Steal these habits from it:

  • Customize when you have parts. Empty optic slots are a self-nerf.
  • Match barrel length to the pad. Shotgun on Smuggler’s Run / Operation Dock Line is a meme for a reason; the maps page flags that sightline.
  • K9 is a gamepass, not a starter pickup. Cute, later.
  • Special Forces and FBI are named gates, not flavor text.

After the video, come back and run Cash Under Fire again with cuffs. Then read how to play for the F/M prompts and missions for the rest of the pad list.

First hour shopping list

  1. Sighted primary (rifle if you can afford it).
  2. Enough ammo discipline to reload before you peek the next door.
  3. Ignore cosmetics and the S&W revolver until the primary is done.
  4. Ignore Robux until you have failed a pad because of a missing tool, not because of aim. Then read gamepasses.

Flashbangs from the grenade update are worth a look once you have Cash left. M18 smoke is the weakest of the three throwables; M67 is lethal and will kill the civilian you needed to rescue. Details sit in latest update.

After the first three missions

Spend XP toward ranks. Check whether Desert Stockpile is visible but locked — that is your Special Forces hint. Check Silent Guest for FBI. Do not rage-buy both passes on night one. The ranks guide tells you which pass matches the maps you actually want.

Join a clan when the feature is available on your account. Boosters multiply the Cash you now know how to earn. Diamonds come from members playing missions, so a dead clan is a decoration.

When you are comfortable, open Night Exhibit (dark museum) and Locked Tenants (house CQB). Those two teach flashlight discipline and stair stacks — the exact stairwell composition on the homepage hero image.

You are no longer a recruit when you can finish Cash Under Fire with all Active Tasks green without thinking about the F key. Until then, stay on this page, the codes list, and the weapon tier.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

What should I do first in Tactical Swat Simulator?

Like the game, join We Have Motives, redeem codes, buy a sighted primary, then walk the Cash Under Fire pad. Cuff hostiles with F and mark evidence.

Why did my first mission not complete?

Active Tasks need civilians rescued, hostiles secured, and cash or evidence handled. Clearing with bullets only leaves tasks open. See how to play.

Is the AJBLOX video still accurate?

The locker, first quests, and rank gates still match. Weapon prices and live codes change. Use this wiki’s codes hub for current strings.

Can I solo the beginner maps?

Yes. Servers allow twelve officers, but party size one works on Cash Under Fire if you slow down and cuff. Harder pads feel better with a stack.
